Public Cloud
Cloud computing has been getting a lot of attention lately. Most of these discussions have been around the risks and challenges enterprises are facing in adopting the cloud. There are currently very few public cloud offerings which meet the unique demands of large businesses and governments but that will soon change.
We are currently developing a new public cloud offering which will complement our existing solutions and focus directly on business and government customers who need cloud computing solutions which balance enterprise infrastructure requirements with the cost and efficiency benefits inherent to public cloud offerings.
Benefits of the BrightHost Public Cloud
Our Public Cloud offering is expected to be released in the near future and will offer many of the same benefits that our Private Clouds solutions has been providing our customers for years. The following are among some of the many exciting new features we expect to be offering.
- Managed backups, security, and monitoring
- Partners can publish their pre-built applications to their clients
- Partners can manage resource allocations automatically
- Self-managed virtual firewall
- Automatic provisioning of advanced virtual systems like SQL Server Mirrors
- Migrate servers from BrightHost Public to Private Cloud environments
Public and Private Clouds
Our Public and Private Cloud soultions differ in the level of management and control available to each. Our traditional Private Cloud environments are highly managed dedicated solutions. Our Public Cloud solution on the other hand will provide more customer self-management functionality which in turn will lead to lower costs. The applicability of each of these solutions will depend on the unique requirements of each business and application.
Beta Testing
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from our partners who wish to help us test and refine this offering before its launch. Let us know if you’d like to take part.
